This sweet treat comes together so fast you’ll think it’s magic. With a coconut oil base, you can mix and match your chip of choice with your favorite spice to satisfy any sweet craving.

Makes enough for 8-10 scoops of ice cream

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp freshly ground cardamom

Directions:

  1. Add coconut oil and chocolate chips to a double boiler set over medium heat  and stir until smooth and just melted (or heat them in the microwave in 30 second intervals). Stir in the ground cardamom. Set the sauce aside for 10 minutes to slightly cool. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over a scoop of ice cream, add any extra toppings (like sprinkles, nuts or edible flower), and let sit for 15 seconds to harden. Enjoy!

  2. Save any remaining sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator. When ready to use, gently reheat in a double boiler or in the microwave to bring back the  smooth consistency.
